The Jefferson public library rolled out a new logo this week, one that not only reflects the library and its collections, but also showcases Jefferson’s signature attraction, the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower.
The logo was designed by Mohamed Ahmed, an exchange student at Greene County High School last school year. The project was coordinated by art teacher Sarah Stott.
“The Jefferson public library is a creative, inviting place, and our new logo is just the first of many changes you’ll see in the future,” library director Jane Millard said.
The logo is on new merchandise available at the library, new signage, and everywhere the library is involved. “Come see what’s inside your library,” Millard said.
